المؤلف: أود أن أقول إنني عندما اخترت لهذا الكتاب اسم "في رأيي المتواضع" لم أفعل ذلك عبثاً أو حياءً كاذباً استفزازاً، ولكن بعد روية وتفكير.. إن ما أعرضه هنا هو مجرد رأي.. وهو رأي متواضع لأنه رأي شخصي لم يسبقه كثير أو قليل من البحث التطبيقي أو الميداني. إنني أقول بملء فمي إن ما كتبته في هذه المقالات من قبيل الرأي الشخصي لا النظريات الدقيقة ولا الأبحاث العلمية.. وهو رأي يجري عليه ما يجري على آراء البشر جميعاً من خطاً وصواب. ولا أستبعد أن يكون نصيب الثاني أوفى من نصيب الأول.. وما دام ذلك كذلك، فإنني لا أرى أي مصلحة في فتح مناوشات جانبية مع كل من لا يعجبه رأي قرأه هنا. مثل هذه المناوشات في العادة لا تنتج شيئاً جديراً بالقراءة.

He was an intellectual and a member of the Al Gosaibi family that is one of the oldest and richest trading families of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Al Gosaibi was considered among Saudi Arabia's topmost technocrats since the mid-1970s. The Majalla called him the "Godfather of Renovation".
Ghazi Abdul Rahman Algosaibi (Arabic: غازي بن عبدالرحمن القصيبي) was a Saudi Arabian liberal politician, technocrat, novelist, and Minister of Labor. He was a well-known intellectual and a member the Al Gosaibi family . Algosaibi attended the University of Cairo and received his Law degree in 1961. Dr Algosaibi moved to the United States where he completed his MA in international relations from the University of Southern California in 1964 and obtained his PhD in Law from the University College London in 1970.
