Iori, un esprit-renard égocentrique, se prend d’affection pour Koharu, qui a hérité du pouvoir de soigner les entités spirituelles par sa grand-mère. Son baiser impromptu serait en fait une « cérémonie de fiançailles » !? Koharu se retrouve à cohabiter avec Iori, qui a pris une forme humaine. Ensemble, ils vont vivre des des aventures fantastiques, durant lesquelles leur relation va peu à peu évoluer.
