Just Another Typical Hooker Tale (Not!) As I wrote this collection of short stories and acts, I knew two important facts to be true. 1.Normal people didn’t become escorts in order to fend off a midlife crisis. 2.I wasn’t normal. Grab some popcorn, take a seat, and get ready to join me on the adventure of my lifetime. The show is about to begin. Who is Miranda Writes? In my early twenties, I earned an MS from a prestigious university and worked in the field of law & criminal justice. In my mid twenties, I married a highly successful corporate attorney and settled down to raise two children. In my thirties, I climbed the corporate ladder and became Vice President of the PTA. In my forties, I became a sex worker. By choice. You won't find the dark side of the industry featured here. I used sex work to explore sexuality. It didn't use me. As Miranda Writes, I write about sexual rights and sexual rites and rights of passage to which I believe should be every individual's legal right. These are my stories, and I hope you enjoy them.
