Only, there weren't a lot of shiny, new guys in the small town of Singletree who I could convince to pretend to be in love with me on short notice. The groom's brother, however, had a list of shiny, new guys, thanks to his previous career in pro soccer. And that's how South Bay Sharks soccer star, Luca Toretti, ended up in Singletree. The issue? A worldly and debonair guy like Luca could not possibly be interested in a small-town girl like me. Not that it matters anyway. We aren't really dating. It's just pretend. Right?
