River and Valek land on a whole new Earth, where seers remember them from a past life. Locals crown River their seer queen, from a version of herself and a version of Earth she doesn't remember. They tell her she destroyed her old world to save it from the dark. Worse, she might have to do the same thing again. Their old enemy returned in a whole new guise, with a new strategy to bring River and Valek into the fold. Unlike Valek and River, they remember everything, and harbor a serious grudge.
