Adelaide ‘Addie’ Sherman - A star student at the school for nursing, graduates and is sent to Kansas at the request of Dr. Baker for a patient – Fallon, a card sharp, who is in a coma after having a fight with a wealthy rancher’s son – Charles Walker.
