Tree And Beast
2020
It all starts with a big disappointment for Hunter Wilson: there's no monster under his bed. And that's not even the worst of it. He's pretty sure his forgetful father and his distracted mother are both at least part alien – but like, the boring kind of alien. His school has the lamest field trips ever, it has no wizards of any kind, and the bullies are lined up outside just waiting to hassle him and his best (and only) friend Gert on their way in. It seems like Hunter will never have an exciting adventure like the ones in the books he's always reading. That is, until he finds a hollow tree behind the school populated by tiny people, and crawls through it into a humming, glowing forest. In this glorious, amazing place, Hunter meets a story-telling raven who's much more than he seems, and then almost gets eaten by a giant dog-monster, before being cursed by magic bees. Then he discovers the forest is under attack by a tree-eating metal moon crewed by four-armed lizard people, and he'll have to stand up and fight if he doesn't want to lose the dream world he's only just found.

#3
Ring and Iron
2021
The land of fairies might not sound like a particularly dangerous place, but when Hunter Wilson finds himself transported there, he quickly discovers it's the most perilous part of the Stranger World he's seen yet. And dodging Faerie's tricks and traps only brings him closer and closer to a life-or-death game with the Queen of Faerie herself – not to mention a run-in with a servant of his true enemy: the mysterious Lord of All known only as the Dark Child.
#4
Book and Hall
2022
Hunter Wilson is in trouble - even more than he realizes. His enemy, the Dark Child, has not only discovered what Hunter looks like and what he's been doing (namely, stealing all the Dark Child's precious treasures), he knows, even better than Hunter himself, where Hunter is going next: an eerie, maze-like museum full of magical artifacts, one of which is the Dark Child's most potent and terrible weapon. If Hunter can get this weapon, he'll be one step closer to saving both worlds. But who can he trust to help him? The museum's strange caretakers? The dog-monster Murphy, who might still be the Dark Child's servant? Esthuan Thievesbane, who is certainly a servant of the Dark Child, but might consider herself in Hunter's debt? Hunter will have to discover for himself before it's too late.
#5
Tower and Pit

If he wants to make it back alive from this adventure, Hunter will have to master primitive magics, and maybe risk tampering with something even more primal – time itself. Castle and Glass
2024
Hunter Wilson barely escaped with his life from his last adventure in the Stranger World. Now he finds himself lost in his own world, thousands of miles from his home, and as far from discovering the secret of the Doors as ever. Meanwhile, Murphy the growff is on the other side, imprisoned in a fortress on the moon. Hunter's only hope to save his friend and make it back to the other world is to solve the puzzling riddle the trickster Raven told him when last they met. And if he can manage that, he'll still have his final and most terrible challenge to fight his way through a castle full of traps and monsters in order to face at last the immortal King of the Stranger the Dark Child.
