After living in New England for the first twelve years of my life, my family moved to Florida and never looked back. I spent many years in Orlando and then moved to Tampa, where am now with my wonderful husband of twenty years and two teen boys. I began writing Passion Fish after having a very vivid dream (basically the Passion Fish bar game chapters). When I couldn't figure out where the story should go from there, I 'hooked up' (sorry, fish pun) with Jessica McQuinn, plot queen extraordinaire, and together we created the novel. My second novel, Between the Lies, is a story that mixes international intrigue with plot twists and romance and is based on some real events of people I know who have had life-threatening "encounters" with the Mafia (one in Ukraine, the other in Indonesia). It's scheduled for release in October, 2012.

Jessica McQuinn is a mom of two very active kids. They keep her busy running from activity to activity, but it is in those moments that she finds inspiration and has no problem pulling out a notebook to write down a few lines for her next story. Married for 20 years to her high school crush, Jessica lives in Utah with her family. As a family they enjoy taking advantage of the extremes that can be found there. From skiing in the winter to hiking the mountain trails in the spring and summer, the whole family loves to be together. Jessica has been writing all her life, but it wasn’t until her kids started school that she decided to think that she could do it and actually share it with others. Now she hopes that you will enjoy it as much as it has helped her find herself again…

Nicki Elson writes spicy fiction with a sweet and dreamy center. She does other stuff, too...like obsess over reality TV (and she's not ashamed to admit it). Writing fiction wasn't something Nicki set out to do; it just sort of happened when she realized writing reports was by far her favorite part of her investment consulting position. She traded stock allocation and diversification for story arcs and dialogue and now weaves creative writing into her life with her family in the Chicago suburbs.
