A.C. Efverman is a Swedish bestselling crime fiction author. Her first novel was published in Sweden year 2002. The novels in her latest series 'Kommissarie Morgan Callaghan/Sydney-serien' have listed #1 bestseller on Amazon many times. Efverman was born and raised in Stockholm and she travelled the world alone on and off for six years before she moved permanently to Australia. During her travels she saw and experienced many things and in one horrific moment she had a gun pointed at her head by a serial rapist. She writes from her experience of being a victim of crime - and over twenty years of research on real life murderers, police investigation techniques and forensic science. Her novels contain the same main characters and the stories are set in her adopted home Sydney. Efverman was a playwright in her past: she wrote crime drama for stage performances. She is also an artist - she's a graduate of Stockholm School of Arts - and she paints with oils and acrylics. Her portrait paintings of her book characters have been exhibited in an art gallery in Sydney.
