Akwesi studied English Literature, before going onto to obtain a master's in European Studies. Afterwards, he began working in Belgium and then moved further east to live and work in Berlin. However, Prague is the location Akwesi began writing the first few chapters of the Electrical Hearts series, while going to work on a freezing cold bus, 'swyping' text into a mobile.
