A. E. Boss is a dark and contemporary romance author from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (go birds) who has had a pen in her hand ever since she learned that writing was far more than a requirement to pass her elementary school English classes. It started with Fan Fiction (as it often does), and then she began bringing the worlds in her own mind to life. She loves to create complex characters who are strong as individuals, but even stronger together. This is what led her to writing romance. A. E. Boss likes to tackle all kinds of romance, beginning with dark and BDSM focused Sign Here and A Contract Christmas. Her current series of interconnected standalones, Love in Lighton, leans towards contemporary romance, focused on a small town with ranchers, bartenders, and romance. As she continues to write, she wants to be able to tell stories all over the genre. One of her proudest points is that the majority of her characters are members of the LGBTQ+ community, and she will always speak loudly for representation as a member of the community herself. A. E. isn't just an author. In her free time, she plays Dungeons and Dragons, reads more than is healthy, edits the work of others, and aggressively watches Philly sports (whether she knows what is happening on the field or not). She is a Diet Coke addict, a Swiftie, and a persistent bother-er of her parents who live just 10 minutes down the road from where A. E. resides with her boyfriend.
