“God and love guide my path so I write about both.” I am an avid reader who finds escapism in everything from contemporary romance to historical fiction and fantasy. My own books are a blend of genres including inspirational, contemporary, African American and multicultural romance. My writing journey began in high school with three Five Star notebooks. One day I put pen to paper and began writing a romance novella. It was initially written for the reading enjoyment of a few close friends. However, as word began to spread, so did the circulation of those notebooks. It was then I developed a passion for sharing stories about life, love and the complexities of it all with the rest of the world. More than a decade later my hope is to write captivating stories with vibrant characters and experiences that keep you wanting to know...what happens next? Aside from writing, I am a community relations professional who enjoys spending quality time with family, volunteering, cooking, pinning (the Pinterest addiction is real) and late night reads.
