Prepare to experience fear at its coldest. In a world where the temperature plummets, so too do the depths of terror. Absolute Zero is an anthology that delves into the chilling extremes of human experience, exploring the frigid landscapes—both literal and metaphorical—that push our minds and bodies to the brink. Inside these pages, the frost is not just a physical presence but an emotional one, as each story examines the icy grip of isolation, despair, and the unknown. Whether it’ s the suffocating stillness of a frozen landscape, the cold indifference of a malevolent force, or the harrowing consequences of a frozen mind, Absolute Zero takes readers to the very edge of what can be endured. Here, in these frozen worlds, the monsters are not always what you expect—and sometimes, they are the ones we carry inside.

David Rider
David Rider
Author · 4 books

David Rider is the author of "Tweakers, Crane Girl and the Semi-pocalypse" on Kindle, as well as the novel series We Are Van Helsing. He grew up in Calumet City, Illinois, where the smiley-face water towers never looked the same after a leering stranger in a green sedan invited him for a ride. He now lives with his wife and kids in a small Midwestern town that has no smiling face on the water tower…although the people there are arguably more sinister. He sometimes busts out a costume and Photoshop for pretentious author pictures.

Marcel Feldmar
Author · 3 books

Marcel Feldmar was born and raised in Vancouver, BC—(That’s Canada, eh?). He studied creative writing at Capilano College and then ended up spending some time in an institution called The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, and now he lives in Los Angeles where his words often get caught in traffic. He has had more bands than girlfriends, but now he is married and not playing music, even though he’s been mistaken for Ric Ocasek on more than one occasion. Marcel is a regular contributor to the Big Takeover, a music magazine based in New York. His musical journalism has also appeared in columns, reviews, articles, and interviews in a variety of ‘zines and magazines. Marcel’s poetic writings have appeared in one small book of poetry entitled Memory Bites published by a gleeful press!, and also within the pages of Products of Conception / Headveins Graphics / In Our Own Words / The Curious Nothing / Rabbit's Foot Magazine

Marzia La Barbera
Marzia La Barbera
Author · 1 book

Marzia La Barbera is an Italian fiction writer and academic researcher. She writes science fiction and horror with a little bit of romance and a whole lot of blood, and enjoys delving into the mysteries of the human monster. Her work has appeared in magazines and anthologies in Italy. Her short story, "Cold Cuts", will be featured in the Absolute Zero Anthology out on October 28th 2025 by Dead Sky Publishing. When she’s not writing, she’s definitely paying too much attention to pop culture phenomena and putting together eclectic, vaguely anarchist reading lists. She is currently based in Palermo, Italy, with her two dogs and misfit family.
