Across the Gulf tells the story of four characters whose lives are entangled by the Nigerian civil a Nigerian soldier, a Biafran soldier, his betrothed who becomes the mistress of the Nigerian soldier, and a son born to the Nigerian soldier, who eventually has to find his real father.
