Adam Dompierre is the author of Wild Bolts Electric and Paint an Inch Thick. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in education from Augustana University, has worked as an English teacher since 2010, and was named the Michigan Reading Association's Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2025.
