Adelaide is married to Nuno Pina, real estate investor and has a son, Daniel. Adelaide moved to London in 2005 where she works primarily as a process safety engineer in the projection of offshore platforms. In 2014, decided to devote herself to literature by compiling the poems she has written since the age of 16, and thus was born the book series "Circular References". The first book, "Circular References - Weary of Me" was published in February 2015 by Chiado Editora. Adelaide published the book "Bargained Soul - Nothingness" in June 2015. Bargained Soul is also a book series where the deepest thoughts and feelings of the writer are exposed in a simple form of poetry, profound and with no filters. Her first novel was published in the end of 2015 by Capital Books. "Reflexos da Lua" is a love story with all necessary ingredients of a passionate love story. "Reflexos da Lua" promises to make you laugh, smile and even cry. A love story with an unexpected ending. Adelaide also published a practical guide for African hair. Being African herself and at an era where African women are embracing their African roots it made sense to publish a guide written in a playful way with all the basics for a healthy hair.
