Available from http://mojavephoneboothbook.com and https://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Moj..., the book tells the tale of the Mojave Phone Booth, a phone booth in an isolated stretch of California desert that became Internet-famous in the late 1990s. The author, "Doc" Daniels, propelled the phone booth to fame with the creation of the original Mojave Phone Booth website in 1997. Soon fans from around the world were calling the Booth and even traveling to the Mojave Desert in California to visit the Booth in person and answer calls. Unfortunately for its fans, the government removed and destroyed the phone booth in May 2000.
