The Kingdom of Aaewin, inhabited by dragons who can shift their form to appear as humans, have been at war with the Elven Kingdom of Dredeir for near a century. When the King and Queen of the Dragons are slain by Elven knights, the heir to their throne, dragon prince Briam Niath, demands that the youngest of the Elven princes, Amrynn Velhreck, is given to him in marriage so peace can be refound in their Kingdoms.
