A former pastor turned writer, Aimée lives by the beach in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband Dave and three of their four children. These days you’re most likely to find her writing in the margins, with a cup of strong black coffee in hand as she juggles the beautiful chaos of family life and tries to keep up with her kids who range in age from five to twenty-six. A total word girl, but most of all a lover of God’s Word, Aimée is passionate about helping people understand and encounter the truth of the Scriptures so they can live in the fullness of all God has planned and purposed for their lives. “But I Flourish” is her first book. She has also written nine Bible Studies (and counting) that have been released through The Joyful Life Magazine, and writes for the magazine while overseeing their online communities in her role as their Community Manager. She's not as organized as she'd like to be, usually has too many books on the go (which is evidenced by the MANY piles of books around her house), and even though she professes to be great at multi-tasking, if you want her to make you a cuppa and talk to you at the same time, the conversation will win every time! So pull up a chair, and join her in conversations about life and faith and loving God with wholehearted devotion—you'll get the coffee eventually!
