Airin Efferin is a retired concert pianist who is currently running the Bandung Philharmonic, a professional symphony orchestra in West Java, Indonesia. She also produces stage musicals in Jakarta and dives with the elusive mola-mola in Bali. She grew up in three countries: Taiwan, Indonesia, and the USA. Airin is a survivor of bulimia, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and the death of her (first) husband. She began writing when she was widowed, as a way to channel her emotions. It grew into a love for telling stories of her various experiences.
