An avid reader with a vivid imagination, I have been coming up with stories for as long as I can remember. I love discovering quirky characters and interesting stories to tell, regardless of genre. If something captures my attention, then I need to see where it leads. I never expected to make a career out of my love of storytelling. I have dual degrees in Psychology and English Literature from the University of Minnesota, and tried out a series of "traditional" occupations, but nothing ever made me as happy as writing did. So, despite being told by my Creative Writing professor that my thought process was much too unstructured for me to ever become a writer (apparently some people are quite passionate about proper outlining), I decided to go for it anyway. While writing has always been a big part of my life, and until now it has been something that I had always kept to myself, I could not be more excited to finally share it with all of you. I hope that you enjoy some of the stories and ideas that I come up with.
