Dutch social-liberal politician. He is the Parliamentary leader of the liberal democratic D66 and the Leader of that party since 2006. He was the mayor of Wageningen 2003-2005 and the a ministrative renewel minister without portfolio. He has been the head candidate for D66 since 2006.
