I write historical novels that transport readers to captivating periods of history. My works are characterized by suspense and meticulous research. Inspired by my passion for literature, art, history, and my own family background, I craft engaging stories. My milestone came with the "Gallery Trilogy." This series narrates the story of an art dealer family in 1930s Berlin, providing deep insight into the art scene of those turbulent times. I am is currently working on a new historical crime novel set in the post-war period at the Central Art Collecting Point (CCP) in Munich. This work uncovers the dark secrets of art theft, cover-ups, denial, and guilt. Born in Munich, I grew up in my grandfather Wolfgang Gurlitt's gallery, surrounded by pictures and books. After studying illustration, I moved to Berlin, my mother's hometown, with my husband, dog, and two cats. It was there that I began my writing career with the "Gallery Trilogy."
