Alfred Weidenmann was a German director - for example he directed many episodes of the famous "Derrick" detective show - and an author of books for young people, very often investigation stories. Weidenmann died in Zürich, Switzerland, during the preparations for a TV film. He's buried in his hometown Stuttgart. Weidenmann used the pseudonym W. Derfla.
