Retired from local and international law enforcement, award-winning author Allie Marie began writing mysteries inspired by colonial ancestors she discovered while researching her family tree. Each book has a touch of paranormal, history, and mystery, with a little romance sprinkled in. The first book of her True Colors Series is Teardrops of the Innocent: The White Diamond Story, which was released in fall 2015. Second place winner in New England’s Reader’s Choice Awards competition, paranormal category, it was followed by Heart of Courage: The Red Ruby Story, which was released in May 2016 and winner of the IRC Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Book in both Mystery Romance and Romantic Suspense categories. Her third book in the series, Voice of the Just: The Blue Sapphire Story, was released in February 2017. The fourth book, Hands of the Healer: The Christmas Emerald released in March 2018 and won the 2019 Rocky Mountain Cover Art Contest for paranormal, and was a finalist in the 2019 New England Readers’ Choice Awards. The final book in the series, Child of Time: The Pearl Watch released in April 2019. Her next novel, Return to Afton Square, is a standalone historical mystery that connects the characters of her first series and the time traveler of the True Spirits Trilogy. The first book, Barley and Lace, was released in 2022. She contributed to the bestselling anthology Feisty Heroines Romance Collection of Shorts Anthology, with her first epic fantasy, a short story titled "Tournament of Reckoning." She was also part of the 2018 Christmas anthology "’Tis the Season” (contributing It’s a Wonderful Life After All), as well as other anthologies. Since her debut book was released, Allie Marie has appeared at more than 100 locations for book events or writer presentations, including Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York City, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan, as well as Dublin, Ireland. Venues range from classic bookstores to local festivals to offbeat sites where Allie can meet new readers and think up ideas for future stories that are patiently waiting their turn.
