Allison Floyd was born and raised in New England. She attended Fairfield University in Connecticut where she earned a B.A. in English. She has worked as a writer and and editor for different publications and written about such topics as healthcare and gender equality. Her debut novel A Wider Universe was released in November 2016. She is currently working on her second novel.
