Allynn Riggs began telling stories before she could write them down, and after being nagged and cajoled be a determined collection of fictional characters for many years, surrendered and shifted careers to tell their stories. When Allynn is not writing, she avidly participates in and teaches square dancing and hunts big game. The mother of three grown daughters, Allynn lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband, Bob. There is a quartet of books that will make up the core of The Stone's Blade Series. It's not your average science fiction tale. The first book, "The Blood" garnered third place in Science Fiction and third place in Fantasy in the 2014 CIPA EVVY Awards. Book two, "The Balance" received second place in Science Fiction in 2017 CIPA EVVY Awards. Book three, "The Blades," was published in November 2019. The fourth book of this stunning quartet, "The Seventh Stone," was published in late December 2022 in paperback format. The eBook version should be out in early 2023.
