In Amadio’s Box the author explores Filipino precepts and describes what he thinks are the qualities that distinguish him as a Filipino. The descriptions are presented in essays, short stories and articles, some factual, some imagined, based on his experiences. The author hopes that his account of his life from this perspective will somehow contribute to how Filipinos and would-be Filipinos, wherever they are in the world, continually try to define their identity as Filipino.
