Amanda Brainerd lives in Manhattan, blocks from where she grew up. She was expelled from Choate Rosemary Hall at the end of 10th grade. She graduated from Harvard College, and received a master of Architecture from Columbia. She is the mother of three children, the wife of one husband, and the owner of one dog and two cats.
