She spent her early years living in Hertfordshire, England, then moved back to Australia when she was 11, making Newcastle her home. She has travelled through Europe, the USA and has also spent time living in Canada. She has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Drama, and an English Honours Degree, as well as several years of experience working in radio as a copywriter. Crimson Mind is her first novel.
