Amanda Ryan was born and raised in PA Dutch Country. She attended college in NYC for musical theatre and eventually moved back to Central PA with her husband and herd of guinea pigs. By day she works as an administrator for a non-profit; by night, she dances, sings, reads and writes. Amanda loves just about all things romance. She started out reading historicals and then branched into just about everything else, except Amish romance (which is ironic, since she lives in Amish Country). She has a particular fondness for fantasy and/or gothic fiction.
