Amaranthus, a Magister and co-founder of “the Starred Serpent Clan”, a group dedicated to the practice of Traditional Witchcraft where he runs the “Coven of the Hagstone Hare”. Teaching classes via the internet, as well as having several covens across the united states, the Starred Serpent has members in NY, PA, FL, VA and NC. Amaranthus has been a practicing witch since the age of fifteen. Since that time he has been a student of the occult practicing and teaching Witchcraft, Wicca, Hoodoo, Folk Magick, Ceremonial Magick, Astrology and Reiki for over twenty five years. As an author on the subject of Traditional Witchcraft, Amaranthus printed his first book “Feasting from the Black Cauldron” in 2017, available from Pendraig Publishing. His forth coming books “Praesidium Maleficis” and “Magick of the Heretic Witch” take the reader deeper into a witches clan giving his followers a glimpse behind the scenes from the perspective of a Magister and teacher. Amaranthus lives in Central Pennsylvania with his partner in historical Stone Ledge, built in the 1700’s during the time of the Civil War. Stone Ledge sits on 5 acres of land, where the author enjoys raising goats. When not writing, the author is an avid hiker, gardener, cook and maker of occult candle.
