As Brandon McDowell, an Iraq War veteran, struggles to adjust to civilian life, the “Overpass Shooter” strikes again. Intrigued, Brandon stalks the streets of LA, studying the killer’s patterns, and concludes that the killer, too, is a vet. But when he approaches Detective Paul Ortiz with his findings, the detective doesn’t know if Brandon is making some kind of perverse confession, is a crackpot, or has the instincts of a brilliant detective.
