Amy grew up in rural Minnesota and began a life of crafting with a box of leftover fabric scraps, wallpaper samples, ribbon, buttons, and unwanted notions. She entered her teens with a passion for drawing, her college years with a passion for sewing, and her early thirties with a passion for beading. Today, she loves to experiment with all media—learning to paint, solder jewelry, and more. She loves to brainstorm ideas for more creative projects and books.
