
Andrea Blythe bides her time waiting for the apocalypse by writing speculative poetry and fiction. She is the author of three poetry chapbooks, including Twelve: Poems Inspired by the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale (Interstellar Flight Press, 2020), which won a second place Elgin Award. Her other books include Your Molten Heart / A Seed to Hatch (2018), a kickstarter funded chapbook of erasure poetry, and Every Girl Becomes the Wolf, a collaborative chapbook that she coauthored with Laura Madeline Wiseman (Finishing Line Press, 2018), which received a third place Elgin Award. Her poetry and fiction has appeared in various publications both online and in print, including the anthologies, Undead: A Poetry Anthology of Ghouls, Ghosts, and More (Apex Publications, forthcoming), Myth+Magic (Pork Belly Press, 2015), and A Blackbird Sings (Woodsmoke Press, 2012). Her poetry and nonfiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, a Rhysling Award, Sundress Best of the Net, and Independent Best American Poetry.
