I’m Andrew Drasen. I wrote A Vision of Hope during my last incarceration and finished the final chapter minutes before walking out. I spent years cycling through addiction, relapse, and jail. I’m rebuilding with faith, honest work, and a plan to live on purpose. The A Vision of Hope series grew from that season. The memoir tells what happened and what I learned. Reflections gathers the lessons so others can use them. The Workbook turns those ideas into daily action. My mission is simple: everyone has something to recover from, and change is possible. I speak with recovery communities, faith groups, and reentry programs. When I’m not writing or teaching, I’m walking my dog Eeva, reading, or outside getting quiet enough to listen. If you’re in a storm, hold on. New pages are ahead. Follow me here for updates, or visit avisionofhopebook.com.
