Andrew Ainsworth is big on story. An award-winning filmmaker and media production educator living in Los Angeles, Andrew writes about the power of our day-to-day stories to inform our past and influence the present and future. His first book, Blockbuster Living– Make Your Life The Best Movie You’ve Ever Seen, is the by-product of many years writing screenplays, teaching the filmmaking craft, and being keenly interested in the intersection of screen-based drama with real life. Andrew has an MA in Film Production from the University of Texas, and an MEd in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Toronto. He is also an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre where he was a Director Resident. Currently, Andrew lives just two blocks from the former lot of MGM Studios where The Wizard of Oz was shot.
