I came to writing later than I would have liked, but perhaps it took longer for me to decide I had something worth saying. However, my career as an author has had something of a false start. I decided, on reflection, and despite some very positive reviews, that my first effort could be improved, so I undertook an extensive edit of The Forgotten God, with the help of a professional editor. A much improved second edition is now available, complete with new cover. I am far happier with the final result. The downside is that there are a lot of versions of the same book listed beneath my profile! I can't say why I hit on Greek myth as a means to tying my fantasy tale together, beyond saying that it has always been an enjoyable trove of stories in which your imagination can run wild. I hope I have done justice to the original sources of inspiration that drive the story (and its successors). Future books are in the pipeline.
