Angeline Teh is a no.1 International Bestselling Author, a thought leader on personal leadership, a sought-after ex-seasoned banker turned author, breakthrough coach, and speaker. She started her career as a bank teller and slowly worked her way up as an investment banker, culminating with her heading her own department, Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI), in one of the local banks in Malaysia. A self-starter and a determined go-getter, after completing high school, Angeline put herself through school, earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, majoring in marketing and completing a minor in finance. While pursuing her bachelor's degree, Angeline also worked as a catwalk model. Throughout her career, Angeline has worked at various companies and across multiple industries, from banking to IT, including both foreign and local banks. With her vast experience in sales, marketing, business development and client relationship management, Angeline has helped transformed teams from underperforming to top performing. In the year 2000, at one of the local banks, Angeline transformed her team from bank tellers to multi-function sales and service staff and achieved an increase in Unit Trust sales from zero to MYR1Mil (USD 267K) in one year. In 2018, Angeline helped her team increased revenue by 30% year-on-year and acquired major accounts. Her team rose from bottom performers to top performers within 6 months. The pinnacle of her banking career was earning the prestigious Triple A Asset award for best in Treasury and Working Capital category on behalf of her department, NBFI, for two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015. This is an international award that recognizes the best department among all foreign and local banks in Malaysia and this was the bank’s first NBFI award. After working for more than 20 years in the banking industry and corporates, Angeline stepped out of her comfort zone to self-publish her first book, Wisdom of the Past. This endeavor pushed her to her limits as she learned new skills and overcame her fears.
