"It's not goodbye. Even though it might be the end." The rebellion has chosen to make its final stand. There will be one last battle, the outcome of which will determine the fate of the realm forever. Prince Keanu has days left to live. With the last of his strength, he gathers his allies against the evil king in a last-ditch effort to unseat him from the throne. Despite being heavily outnumbered, freedom must be obtained at any cost. The king is armed with power and knowledge that no one in the realm has ever witnessed before. The casualties are drastic and the stakes higher than ever. If the king wins, he’ll destroy the realm, annihilate all the magical creatures, and force the world to serve his cruel desires. To obtain victory, a new ruler must rise to challenge the king, and bring the realm into an age of peace. Either friendship will conquer all, or the tyrant king will bring about the end of all things. Whatever may come, the realm will forever be changed.
Authors
Natalie Erin is the pen name for the writing team of Megan Linski and Krisen Lison (also known as Krystyl Lisoh). They completed the first draft of Kiatana’s Journey in 2008 when they were freshmen in high school, and released the book online in their graduating year of 2011. After some revisions the girls decided that they would find representation for the novel, but this was disrupted by Miss Lison’s untimely death in 2013. She was 20 years old. One year after Lison’s passing Linski created her own company, Gryfyn Publishing, and released the updated version of Kiatana’s Journey as the company’s breakout novel on November 1st, 2014. Miss Linski is currently working on publishing the rest of the Creatures of the Lands series in Lison’s honor.
