Attended the University of Northern Iowa and received a B. A. from California State University at Northridge and a M.A. from Loyola University in Westchester, California. She has published poetry in a number of quarterlies and has a TV credit. While a teacher, she enjoyed teaching creative writing to her third- and fourth-grade students. She also teaches adults in an ongoing writing workshop. (from back of book)
