I've been writing stories as long as I can remember, starting with an epic 6-page tale of a sad crocodile who wanted to be any other color than green (hand illustrated with 3D Crayola markers on the finest white printer paper). Now, I write Science Fiction and Fantasy and love building and exploring new worlds. I work full-time as an RN, specializing in Trauma and Stroke. When I'm not reading or dosing medications, my family and I keep busy camping, hiking, riding anything with wheels, and destroying each other in Mario Kart. My first book was long-listed for the 2022 Indies Today Awards Contest and, in the distant past before children, I was an Honorable Mention in the 2012 Writer's Digest Short Story Competition in the Romance category.
