It had always been an ambition of mine to write. It was also a challenge as I have mild dyslexia. I grew up in the south of England and moved to North East Scotland over 40 years ago, which I consider as my spiritual home. I was a social worker by profession, and practiced for 30+ years. I wrote Sisters Reunited in 2005, and made loads of mistakes like for example not getting it proof read professionally, Stolen Bairns, Snatched Bairn and Missing Bairn have been published by me via amazon, and while I know I am not the best writer, the feedback has told me how many have enjoyed reading my stories. I have been retired for several years, but am very involved in a children’s bereavement charity I co-founded over 10 years ago. It keeps me grounded but also keeps me very busy. I have just published my latest novel, Hope at Sunrise, which I loved writing, Its a novel that follows the story of Laura whose elderly grandmother Elsa died and while clearing her house, she discovers that Elsa had an early traumatic life which she kept secret for over 70 years. So I hope folk enjoy reading it..
