Halcyon. The second most expensive human colony in the galaxy. Located on CL-7, in the Lacerta system, ninety light-years from Earth, Halcyon is inhabited by three-hundred wealthy colonists, enjoying a paradise-like life. The past five years have been nothing short of that, however, 144 miles north of the colony, studies on an alien life form have been underway. When something goes horribly wrong, the minimally-protected Halcyon becomes the nearest source of food for these terrifying creatures.
