Who would worry about apples? Not a mere servant boy recently orphaned by strange circumstance. In fact, he would have no reason to have any question of why he is feeding apples to unicorns that he cannot see and the vast amount of children being brought in through the castle late at night. It is beyond him to worry about such things. If he is just a good servant boy he'll get fed and taken care of, never mind the cries he can hear from his room. Besides, it isn't his place. But what if he took the chance to look, to question, to try to be a voice for those that do not have one?
