Punk, poet, extrovert, accountant, and reformed mandarin, Joel is a cuddly teddy bear really. He lives in the woods of Hertfordshire with two boys and one wife. He writes fantasy with a sardonic but romantic vein, heavy on politics, neurodiversity, LGBTQ themes and menace. He also writes poetry, science-fiction short stories, picture book scripts (with significantly less menace).
