After a debilitating illness and a grueling 10-year recovery, it was artistic immersion that pulled Ara Lucia Ashburne from despair and back to her big-dreaming, driven and focused self. Today, Ara Lucia is healthy and whole, living her mission in helping artists achieve greater levels of artistic confidence and satisfaction. With her creativity coaching practice, Soul Navigation, she assists artists in tapping their inner guidance—allowing their most powerful and authentic creative expression to emerge. Her proprietary coaching system, the Spiral Process, draws from her unique education in the arts, and Jungian and meditative psychology, as well as her coaching experience. In addition, Ara Lucia has directed and produced two photo and video advocacy projects, which received much press in publications including Curve, SheWired, AutoStraddle, CherryGrrl and others.
