I was born a Taylor, which meant my life had been mapped out for me since birth. I was the only girl, the golden child, and Fox Taylor’s little sister. People assumed that I had the good life, but they didn’t know me well. No one came close enough to see the real me, the one that was suffocating and failing miserably under the pressure. No one knew what happened in my past, and up until now, I wanted to keep it that way. When Josh Landon sat down at my table in the library, I wanted to pretend I was someone else. For the first time in eighteen years, I enjoyed the company of a guy. In fact, I didn’t want our conversation to end. So I did something reckless, and gave him my phone number. I guess I never expected him to call. He knew who I was. I was a TAYLOR. That title came with expectations and an over protective brother. I wasn’t living, only existing.
