
Arthur Mailey was a cricketer who played for New South Wales and Australia as a leg break and googly bowler. As well as his cricketing prowess, he was also a talented caricaturist and many of his books feature episodes and personalities from his playing days. He also wrote his autobiography entitled'10 for 66 and all that'. He died in Kirrawee, New South Wales, on 31 December 1967, three days before his 82nd birthday.
