Part of Series

Newly divorced, Cassidy Porter has returned home to her parents’ ranch. Needing time on her own to recover from a bad marriage to a cheating man, she tries to concentrate on her career as a romance author and helping her parents with the ranch. Worried that her ex will follow her and try to convince her to return to him, she is determined to hold her ground and never again trust him or any man again. Life is good for Ash Beckett. His feed business is successful and although busy with business, he’s thought something was missing from his life. Ever since his brother found happiness in love, he’s been wondering if perhaps it was time for him to pursue the same thing for himself. The only problem—the women he knows are simply not what he wants in a life partner. When he meets Cassidy, he recognizes that she’s different but doesn’t seem all too interested. Cassie is attracted to the tall sexy cowboy that women seem to follow and flirt with wherever he goes but can she trust her judgement, for it had already failed her once. Was she ready for another relationship and if so, could she trust Ash Beckett to be faithful or would he betray her too?
